Bootfitter
World’s best boot fitter? Prove it! We are looking for experienced, knowledgeable, and switched-on boot fitters to join us for the Southern Hemisphere winter.
Your role will involve:
- Assessing customers’ needs and recommending appropriate ski boots
- Moulding custom footbeds and customising shells and liners
- Selling ski hardware, backcountry and ski accessories
- Assisting customers with purchases, price enquiries and special orders
What we’re looking for in you:
- Proven boot fitting experience
- A passion for skiing
- Knowledge of skis and backcountry accessories (desirable)
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and have good time management
- Legally allowed to work in NZ

Ski Workshop Technician
Do you consider yourself a night owl? Are you drawn to a role where you can play all day and work at night? Our Workshop team dedicates their evenings to meticulously preparing customers’ skis and snowboards, ensuring they’re primed for an exhilarating ride the next morning. The perfect fit for this position is someone who thrives as a logical problem solver, takes pleasure in hands-on work, possesses a genuine passion for all things snow, and is eager to contribute their skills in a bustling workshop setting.
Your role will involve:
- Tuning a wide range of skis and snowboards
- Mounting skis for customers and our rental fleet
- Assessing major repairs such as base patches or edge replacements
- Advising customers about repairs and mounting locations
What we’re looking for in you:
- Proven experience in a ski/snowboard workshop (desirable, although training will be provided)
- Happy to work evenings
- Experience with hands on work
- A passion for the snow and the technical side of skiing and snowboarding
- Be enthusiastic, friendly, hardworking and take pride in their work
- Able to work well in a team
- Legally allowed to work in NZ

Rental Technician
Are you a passionate skier who lives for the thrill of the slopes? Do you love geeking out over the latest ski tech and thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our rental team is dedicated to equipping customers with the perfect gear to enhance their skiing experience and ensure they have an unforgettable day on the mountain.
Your role will involve:
- Assessing guests’ requirements and abilities and identifying the most suitable rental equipment
- Cleaning and light maintenance of skis and boards
- Assisting customers with purchases and price enquiries
What we’re looking for in you:
- A passion for the outdoors and first-hand understanding of gear requirements
- Previous rental tech experience (desirable)
- A good working knowledge of most ski brands
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and happy getting your hands dirty

Ski Demo Assistant
Break out of the four walls of retail and sell skis from the snow! If you’re someone who thrives being outside and is keen to chat ski tech all day, we’ve got the role for you. This is an on-snow sales role which gives customers a chance to try before they buy and a chance for you to take lunch break laps.
Your role will involve:
- Driving to and from Cardrona/Treble Cone in a company van (with paid travel time)
- Setting up and packing down the demo fleet daily
- Assessing guests’ requirements and abilities and identifying the most suitable ski
What we’re looking for in you:
- A good working knowledge of most ski brands
- Previous retail experience in a ski/snowboard shop (desirable)
- A passion for the snow
- Be enthusiastic, friendly and happy to be outside
- Physically fit – heaving lifting is involved
- A valid driver’s licence
