Bike Mechanic
We’re on the hunt for a skilled Bike Mechanic to join our workshop on a fixed-term basis through April 2026. In this role, you'll perform precision maintenance, fine-tune customer bikes, and deliver unmatched service to our bike community.
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years in a bike mechanic role
- Strong knowledge of current bike technologies
- Experience with mountain, electric, road and gravel bikes
- Availability to work weekends and holiday periods

Rental Bike Assistant
We’re on the hunt for a Bike Rental Assistant to join our crew and help guests make the most of their Wanaka adventures.
This is a fixed-term, part-time role with the potential to go full-time for the right person. We’re after someone who can jump on board in early December and stick with us through the bustling summer season.
What you’ll bring:
- A passion for bikes
- Proven customer service experience
- A genuine desire for matching guests with the right gear
- Some basic bike mechanic skills, ideally gained from working in a bike workshop
- Available to work weekdays, weekends and over the Christmas/New Year period
