Refund policy

Here at Racers Edge Wanaka, we go above and beyond the Consumer Guarantee Act and Fair Trading Act by offering a 30 day return policy.

If you’re not completely satisfied with your order, you can send us back your purchase in exchange for store credit or a refund of the money you paid. 

Our 30-day return policy is simple. All we ask is that you return your purchase back to us unused, in the original packaging and with tags still attached, within 30 days of receiving your purchase.

All Clearance items are final sale and are non-refundable.

Please note we cannot process returns for watches, underwear, socks, ear plugs, compression clothing, padded bike shorts and swimwear for hygiene reasons. If you are returning Bike or Snow Helmets, these must be returned in the same packaging they were delivered in, or we may not be able to accept your return from a safety perspective.

Racers Edge gift cards are not redeemable for cash or refundable.

In the event that an online bike order is cancelled by a customer, this may incur a $75 restock fee. This is to cover labour of building the frame to be fit for pick up, and disassembly upon cancellation of an order.

If you want to exchange something on your order for another product, simply return what you don’t want and place a new order for what you require on our website. Alternatively, you can exchange eligible products in-store as per below.

IN-STORE RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Bring your item into Racers Edge Wanaka along with proof of purchase and one of our friendly Gear Guides will exchange the item or refund your purchase. If your product was purchased online, our staff can help you process your return in-store but cash refunds cannot be received in-store for online returns. If you return your online order in-store, we aim to get your refund back to you within 2-3 business days. Please note that if exchanging a product, our Wanaka store may not have the item you want in stock, but if it is available online, we can help you place an order while in-store.

1)  Download and complete our return form above. If you cannot print the Return Form, please include a note stating the purchasers name, address, e-mail address and order number.

2) Please package your item/s carefully to avoid damage in transit.

3)  Send returns to the below address using a courier of your choice:

5)  Keep a record of your shipment until you have received credit or refund.

Cash on Deliveries (CODs) will not be accepted.
