Do I need to book my rental gear in advance?

We recommend booking online to secure your gear, especially for the weekends, school holidays and powder days in Wanaka.

Can I swap between skis and snowboards during my rental?

Yes! We offer free swaps between skis and snowboards within a rental category, subject to availability. For example, if you've rented sport skis, you can swap for free to a sport board. If you'd like to upgrade your swap, simply pay the difference. It's perfect if you want to try something new during your trip.

You'll find us right in the heart of Wanaka, just across from the lakefront at 99 Ardmore Street. We're just 15 minutes' away from the Cardrona and Treble Cone access roads and close to mountain shuttle pick-up spots.

Do you offer multi-day or season rentals?

Yes, we offer flexible rental options including multi-day discounts and season rentals for kids and youth. Ask us in-store or view online.

Do you offer any rental discounts or deals?

Yes! Take 10% off when you book 3 or more rental days. Families can take 15% off of 3 or more rental days. Book 5 days of rentals and get the 6th free. Book 10 days of rentals and get the 11th and 12th days free!

Do you rent kids' ski and snowboard gear?

Absolutely! We have a full range of children's sizes from toddlers to teens, including boots, skis and helmets.

Can we rent as a family or a group?

Yes, we welcome families and groups of all sizes. We can pre-fit rentals for faster pickup and ensure everyone hits the slopes together.

Is helmet rental included?

Helmet rental is optional, but highly recommended - especially for kids. You can add one to your booking at any time.

Do you provide boot fitting or adjustments in-store?

Yes, our Gear Guides can fit boots, adjust bindings and custom-fit gear to your ability level and terrain preference.

Can I take my rental gear to Cardrona or Treble Cone?

Of course! All our gear is suitable for both resorts and we're just a short drive to each mountain.

What happens if the mountain is closed due to weather?

If both Cardrona and Treble Cone are closed due to weather, we'll offer credit for unused rental days.

What's your rental return policy?

Gear is due back by shop close on your final rental day. Late returns may incur a fee unless arranged in advance.

What if I damage the gear?

We offer an optional damage waiver to cover minor wear and tear. Significant negligent damage or loss may incur repair or replacement costs.

Can I rent gear for tomorrow if I book today?

Yes, you can book online for next-day rentals or even walk in the morning of. For peak season, early booking is strongly advised.
