We're seeking an experienced Bike Workshop Manager to lead our workshop and rental team and operate the service department as a high-performing, profitable business unit within the bike department. 

This role is ideal for a senior mechanic ready to lead a team, or an experienced workshop manager who wants to combine technical leadership with the Wanaka outdoor lifestyle. 

• 5+ years experience as a bike mechanic 
• Strong diagnostic and technical skills 
• Experience leading or mentoring other mechanics 
• Excellent organisation and workflow management 
• Strong customer communication skills 
• A passion for mountain biking and the outdoors 
• Previous workshop management or supervisory experience is highly desirable.

• Supporting the Store Manager with team leadership, coaching, and development
• Leading by example on the shop floor as a trusted Gear Guide
• Helping the team deliver outstanding customer experiences and meet sales targets
• Supporting inventory management, stock accuracy, and operational tasks
• Assisting with community engagement, marketing, and events

We’re looking for a creative, organised, and hands-on team player to help bring our brand to life online and in the community. This is a role for someone who thrives on variety, loves digital content, and gets a buzz from helping customers find the perfect gear for their next adventure.

• Assist with uploading products and ensuring our Shopify store is accurate, optimised, and easy to navigate
• Create, edit, and post content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
• Engage with our online community, respond to messages, and curate user-generated content for wider campaigns
• Assist with ecommerce fulfilment, returns, courier liaison, and stock solutions to keep things running smoothly
• Support CRM initiatives, monitor customer feedback, and drive retention through campaigns and personalised communications
• Coordinate ambassador programs, track deliverables, and support events, sponsorships, and local
  partnerships
